UVa wore blue jerseys (with white pants) for the final game of the season, a 20-3 loss to
Virginia Tech. This turned out to be Dick Bestwick's final game as head coach, as he was fired
two days after the season ended.

Certain players have what appear to be blue stickers on their helmets. Some of the stickers are
star-shaped, while others appear to be football or oval-shaped. The stickers were presumably
given out by the coaching staff based on some type of reward system. This is the last season
the Hoos wore these types of stickers on their helmets.
