The border around the collar and sleeves was based on the Colonnades.
The Hoos wore blue jerseys against Georgia in the 1998 Peach Bowl. The jerseys
featured a Peach Bowl patch in the upper right chest / shoulder area, but otherwise
appear to be identical to the regular season jerseys.

The "AG" sticker was added to the back of the helmet as a tribute to UVA student and
equipment manager Albert Dickerson Gibson III, who passed away in June 1998.
The "3" sticker was added to the back of the helmet after Anthony Poindexter was
injured in the NC State game.
